Now to help us with our installation, we're also going to be using the Roadmaster eight inch safety cable extensions with a quick disconnect on. And whenever you're towing, your CRV is very important to have safety cables, not only to make sure that we're being nice and safe, but also to be within the law. We don't want to get a ticket and we also don't want to do anything unsafe. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Road master 68 inch coiled safety cables for your flat tow set up on your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee.This is going to be one of the five main components for a flat tow set up. These are going to be a secondary safety device in case your tow bar fails. The other four are going to be your tow bar, which is going to give you that solid connection point between your RV and your base plate on your towed vehicle or on your Jeep Grand Cherokee.Your wiring, which is going to allow your Jeep Grand Cherokee to receive light functions from your RV, so not only are you safe while you're flat towing your vehicle, but other drivers are safe because they're going to know what you're doing, whether you're braking, making a turn or driving at night.Braking system, which is going to be required in any vehicle that is flat towed. It's going to mount inside the vehicle and it's going to allow the Jeep Grand Cherokee to not only slow but stop itself so we're not overly 00:00:53 relying on the RV to slow and stop both vehicles.And then your base plate. Your base plate is going to attach to the chassis of the vehicle and it's going to give you a solid connection point for your tow bar.Now to go over a few more finer details on our safety cables. more

Today, in our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster 68-inch Single Hook Coiled Safety Cables, part number RM-643.If you're looking to flat tow your Jeep, there are going to be several components for a complete setup so we can safely get it down the road. So, we need a base plate. We have our Roadmaster EZ4 base plate. You'll need a tow bar to hook everything up. We have our Roadmaster StowMaster. You'll need wiring, we have the Roadmaster Diode Kit with the included plug and cable. more

Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables Installation - 2013 Hyundai Elantra

For today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be installing the Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables with anchors, rated for 6000 pounds, part number RM-655. Now we will be installing the Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables with anchors under a Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar. Now the tow bar, cross bar and everything has already been installed on this vehicle. So we'll just have to add in the Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables. We will begin with our tow bar removed. You'll notice that the brackets are for right and left, so you need to make sure that you get them on the right side. We'll go ahead and take our bolt, as well as our washer and slide it to the hole that lines up on the bracket already on the vehicle. more
